Red Arrows of Lowell, started their season
this Wednesday, at Bancroft field this week. They hosted Grandville Bulldogs who
are coming off a strong year in the OK Red.
Game One: Is a Baseball enthusiast dream to watch. The
Red Arrows were down 1-2 late and were able to battle back when left handed pitcher
Zach Stephens helped out his own cause by driving in two runs. Torsten Boss
came in and picked up the save. Jesse VandenBosch also had a great game going
4-4.
Game Two: Was close in the beginning, but Lowell started to pull
away quite quickly. Josh Drake picked up his first win of the season pitching
5 innings. The game was called after 5 innings because of the loss of day
light. Lowell
10 Grandville 3.
Thursday: Lowell took on Wyoming Park at Lamar Park and won 11-1. Nick Trasky picked up his first win of the year.
Lowell heads to Gulf
Shores this weekend
starting out 3-0. Nice Job. Coach Miller said he would like to thank the
students who came out. "It was nice to see a crowd like that on opening
day, the boys notice and we all appreciate it."
